Q: Who will I see for my appointment at Advanced Psychiatric Solutions?
A: At Advanced Psychiatric Solutions, your care is led by Resheda House, a dual-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner and Oncology Nurse Practitioner. Unlike traditional practices, Resheda brings a holistic, medical, and psychiatric perspective to every session. Her expertise includes:

-
-

-
Oncology Nurse Practitioner, Certified Cancer Coach & Cancer Exercise Specialist (CES): Resheda offers a unique specialization in psycho-oncology which is a form of psychotherapy for those navigating the emotional toll of a cancer diagnosis or survivorship. She provides expert cancer coaching to assist in the emotional journey and a tailored cancer exercise program to help improve treatment tolerance, restore mobility and mitigate side effects of treatment.
📜INSURANCE
Q: What insurances do you accept?
A: We current accept: Highmark, Aetna, Optum, United Healthcare, Quest Behavioral Health, Sana. We are continuously networking with new insurance carriers so please check back.
Don't see your insurance? We can still see you but set up is a little different. Most PPO and POS plans offer out-of-network benefits through a simple three-step process: you pay the session fee at the time of your appointment, we provide you with a Superbill (a specialized clinical receipt), and you submit that document to your insurer for direct reimbursement. To verify your coverage, call the number on the back of your insurance card.
📅 APPOINTMENTS AND SCHEDULING
Q: How do I schedule an initial psychiatric evaluation or follow up appointment in Delaware?
A: Getting started is simple. You can request an appointment for your initial psychiatric consultation simply by calling our office at 724-246-4960 or by clicking link below which can also be used for follow up appointments.
Q: What should I expect during my first initial psychiatric appointment?
A: Your first visit is an in-depth assessment. We focus on psychiatric medication management and holistic wellness. Your provider will discuss the risks and benefits of various treatments, check for potential drug interactions, and determine if medication is the right path for your specific diagnosis.
Q: Can I get a same-day or next-day or same week psychiatry appointment online?
A: Yes. We prioritize accessibility by offering same-day and next-day and same week telepsychiatry appointments. We understand that traditional 9-to-5 clinic hours are a major barrier for working professionals, students, and busy parents. To solve this, we provide flexible scheduling that includes:
-
Evening & Night Availability: We offer late-night psychiatric sessions (between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM) so you don't have to choose between your job and your mental well-being.
-
Weekend Virtual Walk-In "Sick Care": For urgent mental health needs, we host a unique Saturday evening virtual walk-in clinic (8:30 PM – 9:30 PM). This allows for immediate support without a prior appointment.
-
Convenient Telehealth for Professionals: Our practice is built for those who "can't get off work." By removing the commute and providing after-hours medication management, we ensure your treatment plan fits your life, not the other way around.
For more details on why we are shifting to more flexible hours, read our latest feature: Can’t Get Off Work? The Rise of Evening Telehealth Psychiatry.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: To ensure all patients have timely access to care, we require 24 hour notice for all cancellations. Late cancellations or "no-shows" may be subject to a fee, as that time was specifically reserved for your care.
🔒CONFIDENTIALITY, PRIVAVCY & INSURANCE
Q: Is my personal health information kept confidential and HIPAA compliant?
A: Yes. We follow all HIPAA privacy regulations to protect your confidential health information, except as required by law for safety reasons.
Q: What insurance does Advanced Psychiatric Solution accept in Delaware?
A: Yes! We accept many commercial insurance plans. We offer private pay psychiatric appointments and telepsychiatry services as well. For those who choose to pay out-of-pocket, we provide a detailed Superbill after every visit. You can submit this document to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network mental health reimbursement. Many PPO and POS plans offer significant reimbursement for "out-of-network" behavioral health.
Q: What should I know about insurance coverage for telepsychiatry?
A: Insurance policies vary — we recommend contacting our team or your insurer to confirm coverage for telepsychiatry, medication management visits, and behavioral health services.
